Aşık Cave is a natural beauty located near Aşıkova Village in Antalya Province of Turkey. Aşık Cave is located on the Fethiye-Göcek road, east of Göcek Bay.
Aşık Cave is a sea cave and can only be reached by sea. The cave is a large cavity opening to the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Gocek. The entrance is embedded in a large rock. Cave formations such as stalactites and stalagmites can be observed inside the Aşık Cave.
The name of the cave comes from a romantic story told in the region. According to the rumour, the cave was named after two young people in love with each other. When the young couple could not meet, they sang poems and folk songs expressing their love for each other. Inspired by this romantic story, the cave was named Lover's Cave.
